Job Description
A leading retail brand operating across South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia seeks an experienced Human Capital Manager to drive HR excellence within its Sales & Marketing division. This strategic role focuses on HR compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and fostering a people-centered culture in a fast-paced sales environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
- 7+ years HR/People Management experience (sales environment preferred)
- Multi-country HR experience (SA, Botswana, Namibia advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and regional labour laws
- Proven track record in performance management and employee engagement
- Recruitment, onboarding and employee relations expertise
- Understanding of incentive programs and compensation models
- Excellent communication skills and ability to travel regionally
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance culture among sales teams
- Ensure HR compliance and manage employment contracts
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for sales personnel
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Handle employee relations and conflict resolution
- Design competitive rewards and incentive programs
- Align HR strategy with sales and marketing objectives
